FCC Calls for Workshop on Phone Rates

We need your support, and if possible, your physical presence.

On July 10th the Federal Communications Commission will be hosting a day long workshop to debate whether or not they should lower the cost of prison phone calls. They’ve invited representatives of the prison telephone industry to come and explain why families of prisoners are forced to pay up to 24 times more than a normal call.

This workshop will be free and open to the public: If you live in the Washington D.C., VA, MD, and WV Area, we need you to attend and pack the room! Here are the details:
