STOP THE OBVIOUS BUREAUCRATIC LOOP HOLE EACH STATE HAS DEMONSTRATED THEY WILL EXPLOIT AND TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF!!!!

How could you as a national regulator NOT intervene when each and every single state has taken advantage of, exploited, and monopolized on the obvious loophole and conflict of interest that is created by allowing the states to self-regulate and conspire with telecommunication companies inwhich they are accountable to NOBODY?.  They have all conspired and transpired theses self-serving monopolies and used the excuse that there is a need for such high prices due to the high cost of monitoring of calls.  That’s the prison’s (and tax payers as a whole) job!!!!….why dont the families have to pay for food for their incarcerated loved ones? or maybe pay for the guards uniforms? etc, etc. Transferring the costs of monitoring phone calls from the tax payers as a whole to the families is not fair to the families, NOR IS IT AFFORDABLE and is by no means in the best interest of the inmates or their rehabilitation….PLEASE DO WHAT IS MORALLY RIGHT! The prisons need to lobby for more money elsewhere if they need it.  This American bureacracy of ours currently allows a “legally untouchable and perfect monolpoly.” within each state which has shifted the burden of cost for  monitoring calls from the prison and DOC’s to the families of inmates.  PLEASE FCC, HELP US HELP OUR LOVED ONES AND OPEN THE CHANNELS OF COMMUNICATION!
