Learn about the use of solitary confinement in Virginia by joining the National Religious Campaign against Torture (NRCAT), Social Action Linking Together (SALT), and Amnesty International of Arlington, at the Arlington Central Library, 1015 N. Quincy St., Arlington, VA  22201 from 7 to 8:30 pm on Monday, December 3.

Find out where and why solitary confinement is used in Virginia, how it affects inmates and their families, why we should care, and what is being done about it. Speakers include State Delegate Patrick Hope, Heather Rice of NRCAT, and Abigail Turner of the Legal Aid Justice Center in Charlottesville. The library is near the Ballston metro station; free parking is also available. Light refreshments will be served.
