ACTION ALERT Senator Jolley wants to kill HB1574 all by himself.

Apr 7, 2015 | by Lynn Powell

ACTION ALERT: Tell Senator Jolley no one deserves a mandatory sentence to die in prison for non-violent drug crimes! Contact Sen. Jolley’s office now at (405) 521-5622 or by email to jolley@oksenate.gov and ask that he allow an up or down vote on HB 1574 in tomorrow’s Appropriations and Budget Committee. Despite passing the Oklahoma House of Representatives with bipartisan support, Senator Clark Jolley might not give House Bill 1574 a hearing before this week’s bill deadline. HB 1574 would mitigate Oklahoma’s harsh mandatory life without parole sentence that has been imposed on over 50 non-violent drug offenders.
