Meeting to discuss children of incarcerated parents

Meeting Monday evening in Lawton

LAWTON, Okla._Children with an incarcerated parent have a higher likelihood of becoming prisoners themselves.

Stopping the cycle will be up for discussion on Monday, Oct. 6 at Lawton City Hall.

The meeting is to discuss and educate residents about the special needs of children in Lawton, who have one or both parents behind bars.

It is free and open to everyone. The meeting starts at 11 am on the third floor in City Hall. Lunch will be provided.
