May 2nd at 6pm: Public Input on Needs Assessment for the Jail

May 1, 2013 | by admin

Needs assessment is now available for download. Come tell the county board what you think Thursday, May 2 at 6pm.

The public meeting on the Draft Needs Assessment report is this Thursday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at Brookens Admin Building, 1776 E. Washington, Urbana.

Dr. Alan Kalmanoff, the lead consultant conducting the Needs Assessment will speak and entertain questions and comments from the public.

We urge you to come out and express your views and let the county board know that you will hold them accountable for the decision they take on how to spend taxpayers’ money for criminal justice.

If you want to see the draft report you can find it at: http://www.co.champaign.il.us/JailAssessment/Champaign_CJSA_Draft_Report_April_2013.pdf

It is a long file so it will take some time to download.

We hope to see you on Thursday!
