Hi!!!! My name is Sheree. I’m currently involved in helping a friend incarcerated at Sussex 2 state prison. He is a long time friend of my family. Yes…he made a mistake and is currently serving a life sentence. He had been denied his medication for pain and nerve damage which causes him a great deal of pain and discomfort. The prison physician claims he doesn’t need the med. However all medical records indicate that my friend needs this medication. I don’t understand…….what right does this system have to allow pain and suffering??????  I have written letters and made numerous phone calls that have been avoided. It’s seems to me that the prison system does as it wishes. I find that inmates are mistreated and denied proper healthcare and medication. Please help!!!!!
