The Rev. Paul Robeson Ford is Senior Pastor of the Union Baptist Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Executive Director of the Boston Workers Alliance, a Roxbury-based grassroots organization dedicated to creating economic opportunity and winning criminal justice reform.
Rev. Ford received his Master of Divinity degree from the University of Chicago, where he is currently completing a Ph.D. in theology. His research interests focus on the intersection between prison ministry, mass incarceration, and a theology that is centered on transformation and liberation. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Chicago Divinity School and the Andover Newton Theological School, as well as Supervising Pastor at McCormick Theological Seminary. He has twice been named a Fellow of the Fund for Theological Education and also serves as the General Secretary of the Cambridge Black Pastors Alliance. Rev. Ford makes his home in Providence, Rhode Island, with his wife, the Rev. Kirsten Boswell Ford, and their three children.
