“Ban the Box” Employment Application Reform

In an effort to reduce barriers that prevent community members from finding work here in Virginia, “Ban-the-Box” removes/defers the question about an individual’s criminal history from the initial employment application.

B-T-B passed in other Virginia local Municipalities:  Newport News, City of Richmond, Norfolk, Hampton, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Petersburg & Fredericksburg!

Let’s go Danville and all other local Municipalities/City agencies throughout VA.

Ban-the-Box not passed in your city, county or town and would like a community informational meeting?  The Mobile Justice Tour (MJT) is ready, willing and able to assist your community.  For additional information contact Lillie (Ms. K) Branch-Kennedy at: 804) 426-4426; email:  rihd23075@aol.com.  Register today at the Nation Inside Community Restoration Campaign, home of the MJT at:  www.restorationcampaign.org
