State police are investigating the death of an Arkansas prisoner that appears to be a suicide.

A 54 year old Greene county man at the Maximum Security Unit in Tucker was declared dead December 31, 2015 after being found unresponsive in his cell.

As of March 17, 2016 all prisons, jails and detention facilities will need to lower their rates according to the FCC’s rules.

The 27-year-old Clark County man found hanging in his cell by a sheet on November 24th. is the fourth suicide in four months in the East Arkansas Brickeys Prison Unit operated by the Arkansas Department of Correction.
